Answer:

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is the name of the procedure.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is a fertility technique that consists of placing sperm inside the woman´s uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of the procedure is to increase the number of sperm that reaches the fallopian tubes. It gives the sperms a little help but still requires to reach and fertilize on its own. It´s less invasive and expensive than other fertilization treatments such as in vitro fertilization.

Before beginning with the treatment the woman needs to take fertility medicines to stimulate ovulation. While the man goes through a process called "Sperm Washing" to collect a concentrated amount of healthy sperm.

With this technique the pregnancy is not fully secured, there is still a chance to not getting pregnant because the sperms do not fertilize the egg.

I hope this answer helps you.
