Let
a= melon
b= servings of melon
c= slice of melon
equation 1
a= 6b
equation 2
a= cb
equation 3
2/3a=a-1/3a
2/3 = 6b-1/3a
2/3cb= 6b-1/3cb
6b= cb
c= 6 slices
There are 6 slices per serving, thus Stephen ate 6 slices over the weekend
