there was a 20% decrease
48/60 × 100 = 80%
100 - 80 = 20%

It's a 20% decrease.
First you have to subtract: 60-48=12
Then you have to divide: 12/60 to get .2
Then you multiply: .2 x 100=20
The answer is 20%
