What's the difference between slope and y intercept

The slope is the value of m in which you "rise and run" point units.

The y-intercept is the value in which x is zero.

The y-intercept in the point at where a line or curve hits the y-intercept, or the point where the x-value is 0.

The slope is the rate of change at which a line changes. It is represented as the Δx/Δy
