This could be solved by calculating radians but here's another solution.
The circumference of the entire circle is 2 * PI * 9 =
56.5486677646 meters
56 degrees is (56/360) of the circle so,
56.5486677646 meters * (56/360) = 8.7964594301
arc length = 8.796 meters
