Answer: Option (4)

Explanation: The plate tectonic movement is responsible for the creation and destruction of the crust. It constantly takes place and balances the total total earth's crust i.e a new crust forms at the mid-oceanic ridge which is due to the result of the divergent plate boundary.

Whereas in case of convergent plate boundary, the denser crust gets subducted below the lighter one and gets consumed.

In a transform plate boundary, the two plates remains conserved and no creation or destruction takes place.

So it can be concluded that the earth's crust constantly changes from one form to another.

Thus the correct answer is option (4)
