y>2x+1

the y intercept is when x=0 so the y intercept would be 1.

the slope of the line is 2x because you would go up two and to the right one. using the slope formula which is rise/run or y/x, it is 2/1 or 2.

substitute point (0,0) to find if my equation is false or not.

0>2(0) +1
substitute
0>1
simply
zero is greater than one which is incorrect so you would need to shade away point (0,0)
