- Judge law mainly by its effect on the broader society, not individual disputes. This means that the laws are based on how they can affect several people, not only one person.

- Trust in law is an essential condition of freedom. Distrust skews behavior towards failure. People must believe that their laws can be trusted, if not, they can't be completely free.

- Law must set boundaries protecting open field of freedom, not intercede in all disputes. He says that laws have to be made in order to keep people's freedom safe, not to "imprison" them.

He believes that the world needs to restore the authority to make common choices, as this is the only way to get our freedom back, and it's the only way to release the energy and passion needed so that we can meet the challenges of the present.

I truly agree with Mr.Howard, because there are many things that are just absolutely ridiculous, like how laws are broader society, and not individual disputes, as they should be.
