A grocery store is selling 6 cans of cat food for $3.write and solve an equation to find the cost of a can of cat food.

So we know that $3 can buy 6 cans. So your tryna find tbe price for one can, so just divide $3 by 6 cans. You should get $2 for one can. If you know the linear equation, y=mx+b, m is the slope and what do you think the slope is? :) b is the y intercept so $2 is for how many cans? Your answer should be y=2x+1.
