Simplify the experssion and you get 10.

You use PEMDAS. So 40 divided by 4 is 10. Then 2x6=12 since multiplication was first before division in the equation. 12 divided by 4 is 3. So you are left with 10+3-3. 10 + 3=13 then 13-3 would be 10.
