What is the solution set for 2X - 1 > 7?

2X - 1 > 7
2X > 7 + 1

X > 8
X > 8/2
X>4

2x - 1 > 7 ; Start
2x > 8 ; Add 1 to each side of the inequality
x > 4 ; Divide both sides by 2

So, x have to be less than 4 in order to be in the solution set.
