How do I work 12 x ( 6 +3 ²)

Using the order of operations, you first have to solve parentheses.
But in the parentheses, there's an exponent, so solve that first.
3^2 = 9
6 + 9 = 15
Then the last step is multiplication.
12 x 15 = 180
That's all there is to it! :)
