5*(4*x-5)-(155)=0
5 • (4x - 5) - 155 = 0
Pull out like factors :
20x - 180 = 20 • (x - 9)
20 • (x - 9) = 0 Solve :
20 = 0
Solve : x-9 = 0
Add
9 to both sides of the equation :
x = 9
hope that helps!!
