A rectangle has vertices at these coordinates.

(−6, 3), (−6, 5), (2, 3)

What are the coordinates of the fourth vertex of the rectangle?

Let A(-6,3), B(-6,5), C(2,3), and D(x,y).
Using vectors:
Vector AB= Vector CD
• xB-xA= xD-xC
-6+6= x-2
x= 2

•yB-yA= yD-yC
5-3= y-3
y= 5
So the fourth vertex of the rectangle is D(2,5).
