Answer:

B. Length of the base is 10 m.

Explanation:

We are given a triangle having,

Area = 20 m²

Height = 4 m

Since, we know that,

Area of a triangle =
(1)/(2)* Base* Height

i.e.
20=(1)/(2)* Base* 4

i.e.
20=2* Base

i.e.
Base=(20)/(2)

i.e. Base = 10 m.

Hence, the length of the base is 10 m.

The length of the base of a right triangle is 10 m because the area formula for a triangle is BxH/2 (B=Base H=Height) (/2= divide by 2)
so plugging it in 4m x 10m = 40m
40m/2 = 20m
