How do i solve the problem: y=mx+cheese ?

well, divide m with mx and cheese or subtract it


to leave you with y= x+ cheese
that is how I learned


here is an example
x = 2

y = 5x + 30

/5 /5

y = x + 6
but if you add the plugged variable number if they give you one

y = 5(2) + 30
y = 10 + 30
y = 40

This is the format of the straight-line equation,
Where, y = mx + c

Here, m = slope
c = y-intercept.

You usually get coordinates, and after solving, we get our result as an equation of the line.
