To find f(-1) we need to plug the value x=-1 into the function:

f(-1)=2(-1)^3=2(-1)=-2

then f(-1)=-2.

Now, to find f(1) we plug x=1 into the function:

f(1)=2(1)^3=2(1)=2

then f(1)=2.
