distance = rate traveling * time traveling d = r*t
The distance running = 3/2 hr * 8 mi/hr
The distance riding bus = 24/60 hr * 55 mi/h

the total distance is the sum of those two.


`d = 8* (3)/(2) + 55*(24)/(60)`

d = 12 + 22 = 34 miles
