3/8 right 5/6
so simplify 5/6
that is the answer but you have to make 5/6 smaller if you don't know how to simplify than ask a friend

3/8 is equal to 9/24. 5/6 is equal to 20/24. There fore you would only be able to fill the pot twice and you would have 2/24 or 1/12 of a pound of potting soil left, because you would be using up 18/24. The answer is 2 pots.
