according to the graph when car B started it was 20 miles from Jhonstown

the Car A aftter 2 hours its 150 miles from johnstown but the speed is 60 per hour so in 2 hours toured 120 and the position is 150

So when it started, it was 30 miles ahead

we can substract the initial distance of two cars to find the relation

so

30-20=10

the car A was 10 miles east of car B, because A is ahead
