An example of an emotional cost of violence on society is the day-to-day fears and suspicions. When a person has fear and suspicion in mind, he would always perceived or thought of something that is possible like threat or danger. Living with this everyday can change a person’s behavior due to perceived traumatic events. This emotional stress can lead to confrontation or escape from danger and worse case is stroke or paralysis.
