Why is a person with type o blood called a universal donor?

Because their blood can be given to nay pitsnt

People with type O blood are called universal donors because their blood can be given to anyone with any other blood type. Since O type blood doesn't have antigens, it can be given to someone who has A,B, or AB blood.
