its 2/5th

the easiest way to reduce fractions is to divide by 2

so she planted 1/10th and then 3/10th all together its 4/10ths planted

now take the 4 and divide by 2 = 2
take 10 divide that by 2 as well= 5

she planted 2/5ths of the garden

the answer is C. because 1/10 + 3/10 = 4/10. 4/10 can be simplified to 2/5
