Okay, Lets start with what we know. Since f(-7), we need to plug in -7 for all of the X values. This means our new equation will look like:

4(-7)+2.

Now we can follow PEMDAS, Which calls for us to distribute the 4 to the -7.

Our equation will now look like:

-28+2

Now it is a one step equation, we can figure out our final answer. This means that our whole equation is equal to:

-28+2=26.

Our final answer is 26.
