Solve for x in the first equation.x=5y3+173x=5⁢y3+1739x−15y=−49⁢x-15⁢y=-4Replace all occurrences of x with the solution found by solving the last equation for x. In this case, the value substituted is 5y3+1735⁢y3+173.x=5y3+173x=5⁢y3+1739(5y3+173)−15y=−49⁢5⁢y3+173-15⁢y=-4Solve for y in the second equation.No Solution

Answer: No solution.

Explanation:

Here, the given equations are,

3x - 5 y = 17 ----- (1)

9x - 15 y = - 4 ---- (2),

For solving this equation with help of elimination method,

3 × Equation (1) - equation (2),

0 - 0 = 51 - (-4)

0 = 55

Since 0 ≠ 55,

⇒ With these equations we can not find any value of the variables x or y.

Hence, this system of equations has no solution.
