For 5 pencils, she pays = $0.75
So,for 1 it is = 0.75/5 = 0.15

Now, for 12 pencils, it would be: 0.15 * 12 = 1.80

In short, Your Answer would be $1.80

Hope this helps!

5 : 75
12 : X
Cross multiply then divide
12*75 = 900
900÷5= 180

$1.80
