4x-3y=16\\ 16x+10y=240\\ --------\\ -16x+12y=-64\\ 16x+10y=240\\ --------\\ 22y=176\\ y=8

Since we know that y = 8 , we can just plug it into any equation


4x-3(8)=16\\ 4x-24=16\\ 4x=40\\ x=10

If you're asking for the solutions to x and y,  x is 10 and y is 8
