im confused. i was recently told that every color you see is not that color. that, that object absorbs all the light colors and reflect that one into your eye. is this true and can anyone proove it. please tell me im really curious.

So I think this is it that color you see like a plant is green that color is not being absorbed really it's just that color you could see because it's the only color not being absorbed
