2x/5=9/15
Sending 5 from LHS to RHS in multiply
so 2x=9×5/15
2x=3
x=3/2
x=1.5

We simplify the equation to the form, which is simple to understand
2x/5=9/15

Simplifying:
+ 0.4x=9/15

Simplifying:
+ 0.4x=0.6

We move all terms containing x to the left and all other terms to the right.
+ 0.4x=0.6

We simplify left and right side of the equation.
+ 0.4x=0.6

We divide both sides of the equation by 0.4 to get x.
x=1.5

so your answer is x=1.5 :) hope this helps u!
