4x + 6y = 8
Subtract 4x from both sides.
6y = -4x + 8
Divide both sides by 6.
y = -4x/6 + 8/6
y = -2/3x + 4/3

4x + 6y = 8
Let's get it in slope intercept form. Subtract 4x from both sides.
6y = -4x + 8
Now, we isolate y.
y =-2/3x + 4/3
That is the answer.
Hope this helped!
