explain why earth and other planets were not solid when they formed during the beginning of the precambrian

The earth is NOT solid, even now. We live on a thin crust under which is a molten mass of liquid rock which is several thousand miles thick. i do not think there are any truly solid planets in our solar system. We're not 100% sure of course, since we have not actually been to any of them.
