Explanation:

Given equations are :

2y = 2x + 2 ....(1)

4y = 4x + 10 ....(2)

we need to find the solution of the system of equations.

If the general equation are :

a₁x+b₁y+c₁ = 0

and

a₂x+b₂y+c₂ = 0

(a_1)/(a_2)=(b_1)/(b_2)\\e (c_1)/(c_2) (For parallel lines)

Here, a₁ = 2, b₁ = 2, c₁ = 2, a₂ = 4, b₂ = 4 and c₂ = 10

Since,
(a_1)/(a_2)=(b_1)/(b_2)=(2)/(4)\\e (c_1)/(c_2)

Hence, the given system of equation is parallel lines.
