D Two instantaneous forces are acting on the marble.

One of which is drag, or air resistance, casing the marble to slow down, and the other is gravity, which like a bullet becomes more effective when the projectile gets slower. Unless in reaches terminal velocity if there is no ground for it to hit of course.

the answer would be D. one force is that gravity is pushing the marble either down or up another one is when it is flicked
