if you have a 100g of water we know we have a 100ml of water. So if we are holding that 100 ml of water from a can that holds 8 oz to a can that 12 oz of water. We still only have 100 ml of water now it's just in a bigger can. we know 100ml of water= 100g of water, and we know 1 ml of water is equal to 1cm3 of water. so we are still left with 1 gram/cm3

The density doesn't change if you're just pouring it into a different container.
I hope this helps~!
