SOLUTION

Write out the information given

\begin{gathered} \text{Quantity of water=2}(1)/(3)cups\text{ } \\ \\ \text{Quantity of white vinegar=2}(1)/(3)cups \end{gathered}

The quantity of the cleaning solution will the sum of the quantity above

The number model will be

2(1)/(3)cups+2(1)/(3)\text{cups }

Then

\begin{gathered} 2(1)/(3)+2(1)/(3)=2*(2(1)/(3))=2*((7)/(3))=(14)/(3) \\ \text{then} \\ (14)/(3)=4(2)/(3) \end{gathered}

hence the cleaning solution will be

4(2)/(3)

Answer: 4 2/3
