Answer and explanation;
Tectonic plates have various effects on the local environments or living things on earth's surface.
Plate tectonics form the oceans, continents, and mountains. Tectonic plates also help us understand why and where events like earthquakes and volcanoes erupt.
The movement of tectonic plates also changes the oceanic currents which directly impacts climate.
The constant movement of tectonic plates may cause earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
The movement of tectonic plates is as a result of convection currents originating from deep in the mantle.
