They balance the ecosystems from the decomposers and recyclers of the ecosystems .making it so the other kingdoms in the ecosystems can life with nutrients and grow .according fro the god web it would be incomplete with out fungi in it .

Fungi, they are decomposers of nature and are food for creatures. Like worms they are needed to decompose dead plants. For soil/nutrients.
