Really quick question about literary devices: can foreshadowing be used in a speech? Because a speech is not exactly a story, but sometimes speeches take a while to develop their central ideas. Could the first line of a speech foreshadow the central idea, basically?

To foreshadow is to hint at something happening later.

Yes.. I have great belief that the *INDICATION* of aliens in fiction... Foreshadowing means indacation or to point out something
