How has the emergence of ISIS further field the violence in Syria?

Many people in Syria don't agree with Isis leading them to rebel and have civil war

The obvious reason is that ISIS causes terror and destruction because of their extremist beliefs. Then more violence ensues because governments and other groups of people are forced to retaliate with force.
