2/4 is greater.
You can prove this by making the denominator 8 on both sides by multiplying riight side by 2/2 to make it 4/8, which is bigger than 3/8

convert 2/4 to 4/8 and then look at the numerators. since 4 is greater than 3, 2/4 is greater than 3/8
