Decide whether the sentence below is reflexive or intensive. I set it by itself on the shelf.

reflexive
i like to think because intensive is i, myself, etc.
that's intense on the sentence.
this sentence is more seperated, so therefore its reflexive.
think of it like a reflection in a mirror.

Answer: The sentence provided is reflexive.

Explanation: The sentence "I set it by itself on the shelf" is reflexive because it contains a reflexive pronoun: itself. A reflexive pronoun always ends in -self or -selves and, in this case, it is referring to the direct object ("it"). Moreover, the sentence is reflexive because the pronoun "itself" is essential to the basic meaning of the sentence. In other words, if "itself" is removed, the meaning of the sentence will change.
