Step-by-step explanation:

In Milgram's experiment, the subjects were divided into 2 groups. The first group was given with the ability to give the second group with electrical shockwave.

Without the person of someone with authority, the majority of the first group refused when they're told to give a dangerous level shocks to the second group.

But, after the first group was being asked again under the presence of someone with authority, large portion of the group actually conform to the behavior and deliver the shock.
