Explanation :

Saturated solution : It is a solution in which the maximum concentration of the solute dissolved in the solvent. The additional amount of the solute will not be dissolved in saturated solution.

Unsaturated solution : It is a solution in which the minimum concentration of the solute dissolved in the solvent. The additional amount of the solute will dissolved in unsaturated solution.

As per given question, when the solution is over-saturated with the solute then to decrease the over-saturation we will dilute the solution. That means more amount of solvent will be added to the over-saturated solution.
