PLS HELP

A rope is 250 centimeters long. You need the rope to be 1 and a half meters long. How many centimeters should you cut off?

Since there are 100 centimeters in 1 meter, and half a meter would be 50 centimeters.
If you need 1 and a half meters, that would be 100 centimeters and 50 centimeters=150 cm

you have 250, so take 100 away to get 150 left.

so you cut off 100 centimeters.

Convert the units so that they are the same:
1 and a half meters=1.5 meters=150 centimeters

250-150=100

100 centimeters must be cut off.
