If it is, Japan's motivation to seek more territories in Asia was for more resources during WWII. The U.S cut all resources going from the U.S to WWII.

Answer:

The idea of economic stability through conquering territories

Step-by-step explanation:

Many of the soldiers going to the army in Japan by the 1930s were from poor households, this meant that a lot of families were loosing their young men, sometimes the support of the house. This situation made the depression even worse. Japan as a country had the idea that by conquering more territories they would be able to have more resources and change their reality, it worked as a promise of economic stability that motivated the masses, even though these actions of war did little overall in that regard.
