In a closed system, equilibrium is said to be dynamic. why?

Equilibrium is only static at a constant temperature, volume, concentration etc, thus if you change any of these things the position of equilibrium will shift left or right this being dynamic not static

Initially, in a reversible reaction, rate of reaction in forward direction is higher than rate of reaction in backward direction. As reaction progresses, rate of reaction in forward direction decreases and rate of reaction in backward direction increases.

At equilibrium, rate of reaction from both direction become same. So there are no net changes in concentration of reactant or product at equilibrium.

Hence it seems that the reaction has been stopped at equilibrium but this is not the true case.

Therefore equilibrium is said to be dynamic.
