The equation is very easy to solve since there is a quadratic formula that we can apply in the problem.
With the given equation 5w2+10w=40, we can arrange the problem into 5w2+10w-40=0.
a=5, b=10, c=-40
By applying quadratic formula, the answers are 2 and -4.
