A rectangular field is divided into 2 squares of the same size and shape. If it takes 371 yards of fencing to enclose the field and divide the field into the two​ parcels, find the dimensions of the field.

You would divide the total fencing by 7, because there are 3 sides for each square, so that would be 6, and the one side they share would make the total 7.

371/7=53 yards for each side of the squares. The dimensions of the two parcels together would be 53 by 106.
