4/5x = 9/5 + x

divide both sides by 4/5

x = 9+5x/4

4x = 9 + 5x

-x = 9
divide by -1

x = -9 (C)

(4)/(5) (x) -
(9)/(5) + (x) = ?

First:
(9)/(5)

(Simplify, that fraction for Step )

Second:
(4)/(5) (x) -
(9)/(5) = ?

Third: x = whatever this equals →
(x(5))/(5)

Fourth:
(5(x) + 9)/(5)

Fifth:
(4)/(5) (x) -
(5(x) + 9)/(5) = ?

Sixth:
(4)/(5)

(We have to simplify the fraction for Step 6)

Seventh:
(4(x) 5(x) + 9)/(5)

(-x - 9)/(5) (5)

Eighth: -x - 9 = ?

Ninth: -x = 9
For step number 9 we would have to add the number 9 from each of your sides.
For step number 9 again we have to multiply from the equation with the number -1 and attach x = -9 with it

Finally we get to your result!

x = -9

So, from the looks of it, it looks like option C. -9 would be your answer to this question
