The scale of a model train is 1 inch to 13.5 feet. One of the cars of the model train is 5 inches long. What is the length, in feet, of the actual train car?

scale model: 1 inch per every 13.5 feet.
13.5 feet is 162 inches
equation for 1 car of the model train: 5 * 162 = 810 inches
That is 67.5 feet.

67.5 feet....5x13.5 would get you 67.5 feet
